Several years ago we decided to build our own log home. Like you, we researched manufacturers prior to making a decision which company would supply the home of our dreams. We were aware of Katahdin Cedar Log Homes and the company's reputation, but at that time it had no local representatives in our area. So we ended up building a competitor's log home.

Well, we weren't really happy with the final product. More than that, we had very little support in handling the financing, permit issues and other details. What was supposed to be an exciting, rewarding process ended up not being that way at all.

Our experience helped shape the focus of our business. We started to provide local representation in our area by partnering with the one company we knew stood above the rest—Katahdin Cedar Log Homes, America's finest manufacturer.

Then we built a network of construction, banking, real estate, and other resources for our customers. Graduating from the "school of hard knocks" gives us a unique perspective on how great customer service should be delivered, and we provide the time, attention and expert guidance needed along every step of the way.
